While season three is mostly more of the same, this season does succeed at being darker, have better production values, and is more action packed than either of the prior two seasons.

Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun is a slice of life/comedy about a high school student who is also an award-winning shojo manga writer/artist. Shojo manga is a type of Japanese comic book that targets the teenage girl demographic. Stories generally star a teenage girl and are of a romantic nature.

Generally speaking, I don’t enjoy most romance oriented shows. They’re too formulaic, predictable, and derivative. If you’ve seen one romance, you’ve seen almost all of them. Especially when it comes to romances that take place in normal settings. Tsuredure Children is one of the exceptions to this. Tsuredure Children is cute, funny, and packaged in a digestible format that keeps it from becoming your standard stale, derivative romance story.
Details: First aired in 2016. This is a review of New Game! (season 1) and New Game!! (season 2) or the show. There are a total of twenty-four episodes, not including the OVA from the first season. Each episode is about twenty-three minutes long.
New Game! is a workplace comedy/slice of life show about a group of video game developers and their experience at a company that makes video games.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the sequel to the action packed, often ridiculous Kingsman: The Secret Service. The prior film was a movie that wanted to modernize and give a more comedic, R rated take on the spy genre that movies like the James Bond franchise familiarized to audiences. The Golden Circle continues what the first film started by adding more action, more well-known names to the cast, and more jokes. If you like the first Kingsman movie, you will enjoy this. Minor spoilers ahead, but nothing that wasn’t in the trailer above or on a promotional movie poster.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is a slice of life anime with a twist. It’s similar to The Devil is a Part-Timer in that they take a down to earth idea and add the twist of fantasy. It’s a funny, fun anime with a lot of jokes and some fan service.
Details: Released in 2017. Over two hours long. Stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr.
Spider-Man returns and we finally get a look at the kind of Spider-Man movie the Marvel movie machine would make. Before getting into specifics, I’m going to say that Spider-Man: Homecoming is a good movie that takes a very slightly different take on the character as compared to the prior Spider-Man movies.
Details: Started airing in 2009. There are currently two seasons, two OVA’s (original video animation) and a movie. The first season is thirteen episodes and the second season is about twenty-six episodes long. Episodes are about twenty-four minutes long and the movie is under two hours long.
K-On! is a slice of life anime with an emphasis on music. In reality, the emphasis on music is minor and the show focuses more on being a slice of life show with little drama, but a lot of comedy.

Details: Released in 2010. Played it on the PC. Purchased for about four dollars. Five episodes in total that took about two hours each to beat.
When you hear the name Telltale Games (and know a little about video games) you think about games like the Walking Dead. You think about games with branching plot lines, meaningful choices that change major plot points in the game and cause alternate endings. Back to the Future: The Game is not one of those games. You need to remember that this game predates The Walking Dead game. Back to the Future: The Game is a very traditional adventure game that follows a single, linear plot line. Fortunately, that plot line is decent.
